LITTLE MISS MATCHED

I know all of you Indiana people are still experiencing winter at its finest as well as the rest of you across the Midwest. I'm sure that hearing about the ol' groundhog seeing his shadow once again didn't help your mindset when it comes to hurrying the days along to Spring. Here in Florida, we've got 80 degree temps forecasted on the board for this week. Therefore, we aren't really having that problem right now. I'm just sayin'! LOL! Sorry - had to go there beings that I'm a Hoosier/Midwesterner at heart.

With all that said, I realized that there have been several things I forgot to blog about given the move, teaching photography classes, trying to get my business off the ground here in Naples, etc. With it being so cold in the Midwest right now, I thought many of you would appreciate a good ol' "favorite find" of mine right now. It's been a while since I've shared a favorite find of any kind so I thought now was as good a time as ever. Meet Little Miss Matched! I love this store. These images are of some items I had gotten for Kenidi last year back at the start of winter. Needless to say, we never have really gotten to wear them much down here in beautiful sunny Florida. I had ordered her some things for a few photo shoots back when we still lived in Indy. Little Miss Matched sells cookey miss matched socks, leg warmers, leggings, flip flop socks, etc. for girls and adult women. They have very reasonable prices and are great at running specials too. For any of you considering a photo shoot with your daughter soon, these would go great with some funky high top tennis shoes. We pair Kenidi's with her converse, a cute tutu or skirt and a crazy tee to boot. They are all so adorable.

One thing I have done here in Florida is pair the knee high socks on Kenidi with her skirts and short little daisy duke shorts. Again, adorable. I know you guys will love their things. They also sell very cute miss-matched bedding and such too. Definitely a company worth checking out if you haven't already. Have fun!

JESSE JAMES - A NEW FAV!

If I had a buck for every email I get that involves either a compliment or a question regarding the music on my playlist, I'd be rich by now. I've said it before and I'll say it again, my playlist is a hot topic amongst the emails I receive on a daily basis. Many times people will email me and tell me how much they love my choice in music and will tell me how much they love listening to my playlist while at work, cleaning house, etc. I'm always so flattered that my crazy and eclectic choice in music makes some peoples day easier to stomach. I know music is BIG for me and can really make or break a moment of mine. Music can take me to a place that nothing else can. Therefore, I'm always happy to share my favorite tunes with each of you here. Many don't realize that I work just as hard at my playlist as I do with blogging. Many times I will seek out certain songs to match the topic I've written about on my blog for that day. I will find those songs and place them at the top of my playlist so that they coincide with what you are reading. Blogging and music go hand in hand for me.

With all of that said, I MUST introduce you to a girl who has been gracing my car stereo, my ipod, my iphone, our house radio, and now my blog playlist. Her album dropped back in June but I'm just now learning of her. One of my sweet blog readers and friends (Hi Noelle!) used to be this girls nanny when she was younger. Noelle turned me on to her music and I've been hooked ever since. You could say that I'm a Jesse James addict now. Yes, her name is Jesse James. SHE ROCKS THE HOUSE. Not only is she as gorgeous as they come, but her style is right up my alley. Her music makes everything A-OK within my life no matter what the moment entails. Bottom line...Jesse is da' bomb! And if God ever allowed me to pick who I wanted to look like in life..."I'd pick Jesse!"

As I said, her CD is already out. They are beginning to play her music heavily on the radio stations and she is beginning to pop up everywhere. This girl will be all over the place before we know it. I promise you she is going somewhere - somewhere BIG. HUGE. GINORMOUS! I'd give anything just to rock out a tee and some sweat pants like she does.

Please go get Jesse's album. You won't regret it. For your listening pleasure, I've added 3 of my favorite Jesse tunes to the top of my playlist. Go rock out your moment with the songs "I look so good (without you) and Blue Jeans." I promise you that you will never be the same. ROCK ON JESSE GIRL!

xoxo, Angie

PS...Florida move update coming tomorrow. And yes, there will be pictures. :)

ANOTHA' FAVORITE FIND

Hi ladies. I thought I'd jump on and share one more new favorite find real quick. This is the last one for now. However, I wanted to make sure I mentioned it. I got a ton of emails from those of you whom either bought the message in a bottle kit, the handbag I featured yesterday, or both...that I figured I "must" share this one too. Ya'll know how much I love me some lotion, right? Well being down here this summer caused me to find a new "favorite" body lotion. Brent loves to stop in the Tommy Bahama store when down here so we made a trip by there a couple of weeks ago. When inside, I stumbled upon this pink pearl filled beauty. It's Tommy Bahama's "South Seas" pearlized body lotion. Ummm yummy! LOVE IT! Not only that but it smells heavenly. It reminds you of a smell straight from the islands. The coolest part though is the pearlized sheen it gives your skin once you apply it. A perfect look for summer tank tops - glistening shoulders. They make two types of this lotion - one is the South Seas and one is called St. Barts. I didn't like the smell of the St. Bart's lotion as much as I liked this one. So...my recommendation is to go with the South Seas flavor. St. Barts is in a white bottle and the South Seas one is in this pretty light pink bottle (shown above). Heavenly goodness...I promise! The downfall to the lotion is the price (it's almost as much for a bottle of this as it was for the handbag I featured yesterday) but your skin will thank you for it. I've been in the sun almost everyday since arriving here back on May 29th. Thanks to this lotion, I've kept from peeling even one time like I normally would have by now. That in itself is saying something. Getcha' some!

SEEN THESE?

Seen these? If you haven't, you need to. We started on the new look to Brennen's room this week and I got these for the room as well as for our basement. They are Wii and XBox gaming tower stations. They hold and organize all of the games and controllers so that you don't have a strung out mess everywhere. For someone like me who is an organizational freak, they are a must. I tried to purchase these back at Christmas time but they were sold out and on back order for months afterwards. I just now found them back in stock and had to grab them. Brennen's freshly painted room looks a 100% better with this in the corner helping to keep everything clean now.
They make it for the Wii and for an XBox version. They've been a life saver for us and my sanity in general. JC Penny has them both on sale right now as well. Can't beat that! Just a new favorite find that I wanted to share with ya'll.
Happy weekend, Angie
