STRAWBERRIES

I got a special delivery the other day. It was a box from my dear friend/sewing employee, Karen. When I opened the box it came shipped in, I saw the words "Shari's Berries" across the top of a maroon ribbon wrapped box inside. I knew right away what they were. Karen had told me a while back ago about this place that delivers chocolate covered strawberries and just how impeccable they were. She wasn't kidding...

Needless to say, these bad boys lasted mere seconds in our house. They were beautiful in presentation but even more scrumptious to taste. Not only that but they were HUGE - GINORMOUS in size. We got our belly's worth - that is fo' sho'!

I loved all of the different flavors and the different textures that they had for us in the box. They made for beautiful photographs.

Thank you Karen. These were DY-NO-MITE! I loved every bite of them. So did the rest of my clan. You are such a sweetheart. I can't wait for your visit in March. We are going to tear up the town in downtown Naples, enjoy sun drenched days on the beach, and pink cotton candy sunsets at night. Fun times...fun times...!

For now, I'm off to take Brennen to his first night of basketball practice here in Florida. He is on a new team and so very excited to get started and back into the normal swing of things with his sports again. The only bad thing about it is the 8pm Monday night practices. Who sets these schedules anyway? We always get the crappy time slots when it comes to the weekly practices. It must be a man that sets these schedules because I KNOW there aren't any Moms out there scheduling basketball practices at 8pm on a school night. Grrrr! Until the next post, enjoy the rest of your evening. xoxo, Angie

I am a new follower of your blog. Please tell me where the secret beach is in your last post. We went to Panama City last year on vacation and want to go some where different this coming summer. The beach pictures look so amazing...we have to know where this is so that we can go.

How DARE they have practice when you should be watching THE BACHELOR! I won't do any "spoiling," since I'm sure you recorded it! I'm sure you'll agree it was worth the wait! GOOD stuff happening tonight! Can anyone please tell me what Vienna has done that is so terrible? Yeah, she shouldn't have taken one-on-one time when she already had a rose, but, I (and my friend) do not see why they all hate her so much.

This season certainly has the D-R-A-M-A!!

I knew you'd love thos berries!

Sabrina, I just emailed you back regarding the SECRET BEACH location. Hopefully you got my note. That secret beach is here in Naples, Florida. :)

Karen, I'm like you - can't quite understand why they hate Vienna. However...SPOILER ALERT...rumor has it that he picks her in the end. They say that the show is stirring up drama about her so that it makes the end even better when she is the one picked. Who knows if this is true or not but that is word around the internet and facebook. The guy who posted the spoiler about last seasons "Melissa" and what that lleewwsseerrr did to her by going back and picking Molly is supposedly the same guy posting the spoiler alert about this season. We'll see. Only time will tell, eh? I can't decide who I like just yet. I don't think Vienna is my favorite at all but no one else really is yet either. The girls are a little "rough" this season. :)

Angie,

My friend is moving to Naples in May to attend college near there. She is a new believer and needs some leads on a church. Where are you and the "Brentster" taking the kids nowadays? Any help you could give here, would be great.

Strangely enough I prayed for you this morning, out of the blue (so to speak) your name came, and I didn't know what was hurting you but I prayed for your family anyways. Just now I caught up on your blog, and now I know why your name came to me this morning.

This is the first time I have left a comment, but I've been reading for a while now, over a year?

Anyway, thanks for any help you can post for my friend, and I will keep praying for your loss.

Gina,

First off...thank you for the prayers girl. You will never know how much that means to me. Really! I need them a lot these days. :(

Secondly, I wish I had some advice for you regarding your friend and a church around here. However, we have yet to find a church that seems to fit our wants. There aren't very many near by and therefore we might eventually have to go somewhere into the Ft. Myers area or something to find a place. Bummer! I know. However, we are at a loss thus far. I'm praying that God leads us in the direction of where he wants us to land - even if it isn't necessarily our pick. Trying to be patient...

Thanks for being a blog reader too by the way. I appreciate you taking the time to comment today on the blog. Such a sweetheart you are! Do keep in touch!

Hugs, Angie

You write as though life is going along swimmingly, so your frowny face gave me a frowny face. I guess I read positive expressions when you're feeling pain? I hope this pain is contained to your loss of your friend and not anything else.

Church finding can be a challenge, and finding a church is not the only answer. But, I just like the idea of you finding a spot where you can take in the music and the scripture once a week--and if you feel :( you can show that there!

Anyway, keep searching, my friend doesn't move until spring!
;) And I'm glad of that, she will be sorely missed!

Now I will shut up. The first time ever commenting on a blog, and doing so twice in a day has worn me out. Ha ha ha!
