HER LOOK - NAPLES, FLORIDA CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER

Just because.

Just because I found this in some old images and had put them aside as "unusable."

Decided unusable wasn't a good categorization for this one any longer. This is Kenidi's "look" and I love it. Her hair had gotten really long recently. I took her to a nearby salon and got her hair cut back off in an angled bob yesterday - similar to what she had here. As I was driving her home, I looked in my review mirror at her new "do" and thought..."Now that is the Kenidi I know." The long locks just didn't do much for her - other than create chaos in the morning as we tried to comb out the tangles before the bus came. Not fun. But this...this is fun. The picture, her look, the "do," all of it.

Fun-ness I say.

Finding an older image like this is like finding money in a coat pocket that you never knew was there. ;0) Good stuff!

xoxo, Angie

I would never cut her hair off, I wanted it to be long, but she is adorable either way, what a little beauty she is!

you are so brave... I keep thinking the same thing about Caroline's hair.. but I am too chicken to get it cut.... she has hair half way down her back... it takes forever to wash and dry.. and lets not even talk about all the brushing and the tears!!!

Oh I love the angled bob. We're dealing with tangles galore with my 7 yo daughter too. But she wants her hair long. BLAH!

My girls are getting haircuts this weekend too! Lauren wakes up with a matted rat's nest every monring. Apparently I did the same thing when I was little, but I outgrew that bad habit. I wish she would soon. We're late for nearly eveything, and it's usueally because of her hair.

I just did that to Bella's hair after letting her grow it out for a year and I'm so happy I did. I love that little angle Bob on our girls it's just precious! You will be doing the happy ( Beach) dance when it's done:) can't wait to see pics of your sweet angel!

Girls, I highly recommend a product called "It's A Ten". I have always had a problem with tangles. I remember throwing many fits as a child. This product has changed my life. Spray on and then comb through. I can comb right through my hair with no tangles. It adds shine, smooths the hair and keeps it from frizzing. You can read more about it at www.itsatenhaircare.com. You can buy it on Amazon.com. Get the spray on product. You won't be sorry!!

I cut both my girls hair into the angled bob and LOVE them..then I went for it as well cutting off about 8 inches...it is so much easier to deal with!

My 12 yr.old fights w/me every day and night about brushing her hair. Her hair is in the middle of her back. We've cut 13 in.off every 2 yrs and send it to Locks of Love. This time I didn't let it get so long, and cut it off today. Love it shorter

I took Lily to get her hair cut and I am going back to go shorter! I love it! They hopefully, God willing, will have a lifetime to deal with a "long mop", so in the meantime I think these short little bobs are adorable!!
Love your pics! Gorgeous!!

I can't recall seeing a pic of your daughter with longer hair, but the bob does suit her. Sometimes it' the long hair that's pretty, not necessarily the long hair on the girl. Her locks are lovely here.

Tell her grandma to get the detangling product and then she can do Kenidi's hair every morning (if she wants it long)!

:)

LOL! Too funny Gina! She would too. You are so right though...sometimes the hair itself is pretty but the look does nothing for the person wearing it. The long locks Kenidi had were gorgeous but they didn't have a "style" so to speak. It didn't add any "flare" to her. :) Her hair cut now is actually a styled look and she wears it well. I'll have to post some updated photos soon.

xoxo, Angie
