3 MORE HINTS

Beings that you are all sooooooooo impatient...HA HA...I thought I'd share 3 more hints with you in regard to how we are "theme-ing out" Kenidi's room. So...here you go...

Now...the kicker here is...you impatient ladies are going to have to wait until the end of next week to see the finished pictures of her room. I have something on order that won't be in until then and I refuse to show pictures of the room until the whole package is there and together. Done. Everything on the walls. ETC. So, I promise to show you the finished project as soon as that last piece arrives next week sometime. I might even be different and do a "VLOG" post of her room (video on the blog). We'll see. In the meantime, thanks for all of your excitement in regards to this. I'm excited and I love that all of you can share in that excitement with me. Brent got home from the office last night and had Kenidi and I take him straight upstairs to see her room painted and what it turned out like. He was scared to death - I could tell. Thankfully, he loved it as much as I do. Maybe more. If he said it once, he must have said it four times last night - the fact that I surprised him and he couldn't get over how well it looked in there. Brent isn't big on color. He likes to play it safe when it comes to paints. Me however, I've been known to paint a room bright yellow and then deck it out with a chrome dining table and 4 different colored primary suede chairs. (red, blue, yellow, and purple) Back then, he was petrified with that project too. In the end though, it turned out to be the most talked about and loved room in our home. That was pre-kids though. No more suede chairs in this house anymore. Ha ha!

So...I'm thankful that he loves it as much or possibly more than I even do. I knew he would though. He couldn't see my vision until now. He'll love it even more once my vision comes completely together and I get everything in there this next week that goes with the theme and the decor. Stay tuned...I can't wait to show it to all of you.

For now...I'm off to go check on the AGD studio. It's being painted today. This is the room that has me nervous. I'm hoping the pink in there is the RIGHT pink. Ya know? Wish me luck!xoxoxo, Angie

Oh ya, I smell what you're cookin' girlfriend! Cute idea...very cute!

This is kinda funny...just a few days ago I was thinking about Tiffany blue. My brother is dating a girl that has a daughter named Tiffany. I was driving along thinking~How cute would it be if they did her room in Tiffany blue? And now just a few days later here I am reading about a Tiffany inspired room. I'll have to show her your finished product.

Can't wait to see it, by the way! I'm sure if you're doing it, it will be fabulous! Jill

Hey -- wanted to let you know that I passed along your name to my friend Lori Roberts. She's doing an article for Carmel Magazine on "Mompreneurs." I just gave her your website address.

Have a " Great Day " , in spite of the SNOW !!! The beach is just a few weeks away for you , hang tight !!! We have " Bright Beautiful Sun " here in Georgia today ad I am sooooooooooooooo " THANKFUL " , I am heading out to get my hair done and shop a little today and I can't wait to feel the " SUN " !!! Heather, I wish I had help girl. One could only dream of having a decorator come in and decorate their whole house for them. I soooooo would love that. Ha ha! However, it's just the three of us...me, myself, and I - when it comes to the ideas. I do have fun doing it though. Like with sewing, beading, photography, etc., it all has a certain hold on me when designing or coming up with ideas. I get fixated on a room and can't stop thinking about it until the vision is all done and completed. Just ask Brent. I'll go to bed talking, thinking, reading, researching ideas about that particular thing or space and I'll wake up thinking about it all over again. It's a vicious cycle. One that I'm passionate about though. (design anyway) I love all of the inspiring ideas and tid bits you find online, on tv, and in magazines now days. It makes life a lot easier when you are digging for something different. Ya know?

As for Kenidi's room, there are several reasons why I went with these ideas. Her paint color is my all time favorite color in this world. Any shade of aqua, turquoise, blues, etc. make my heart skip a beat. As for the quotes on her walls, I love quotes. I just love them. I have them all in my mind, written on pieces of paper everywhere, jotted down in journals, etc. Love me some quotes. And Audrey - oh my girl Audrey - love her, love her, love her! Always have. She was the epitome' of style and class. I admire her for her charitable work and just the life she led in such a rough and tough public arena. We need more like her in todays world. Another person I admire from the past is Jackie Kennedy Onassis. She is an ICON to be reckoned with even following her death all these years later. Class, class, class. That is the best word I know to sum her up.

So, I decorated Kenidi's room more so how I would like my room done if I was a young girl. Kenidi is much too young to understand anything happening and their meanings in there right now but I live for the day when I can introduce her to Audrey, Jackie O., the color turquoise, famous quotes to get her thru life, etc. I know that day is in the future so I'm preparing the fun for it all early. Wink wink! :)

Hugs, Angie
PS...Debbie Kibby...I am so jealous of your Georgia weather today. Do you have a spare room in your house for little ol' me? Ha ha!

I also LOVE quotes - I keep a file of my favorites!!! I have books of them, have them up on my kiddies walls, etc.! They are just the little bit of inpsiriation I need on any given day! The one you are using for Kendi's room is AWESOME!! I absolutely LOVE it!!!

Hi Angie , I am getting your room ready , just head on out to Georgia !!!! ( ha ha ) It is really nice here today and " I AM LOVING IT " !! Bill and I live on Lake Harding in a condo , so if you come on down you can go sit pool side , or enjoy the hot tub ( it is a little too cool to go boat riding right now ) but you can come ANYTIME !!!!

We are counting the days till " real warm " weather so Brandon , Rhonda and the girls can come down !! We love it when they come or any of our other boys and their families !!

See here in " Georgia " we get really " EXCITED " to see the white stuff , it has been at least 6 or 7 years since we have had any snow !!! Hope the snow goes away soon for you guys !!!

Take Care !!!
