EXCITED AS ALL GET OUT

I finally found my photography lab of choice!
...YAY...!!!

I had been on a mad search trying to find a lab that met what I was looking for with my photography needs. I searched high and low and experimented with several labs before finding the perfect one for me. I want my photography clients to be breathless and speechless when they pull open an image order from a session I did with them. Labs play a crucial role in those speechless moments. You can take a great picture but if your custom professional lab is no good at processing colors and clarity when it comes to the image, then your picture is shot. Literally!

So...after a draining process of getting set up and approved with this particular lab, collaborating my monitors to match their color printers, etc., I am finally excited, beaming, and oh so ready to get started with my printing thru them.

As a test feature, approval process, and requirement of using their lab, they had me submit images so that they can review them and then print them. This is all done for free. Thankfully, my new Angie Seaman Photography business was approved and they shipped me my free test prints back and my 'gettting started' folder yesterday (shown above). 48 hours people - just 48 hours is all it took for that order to reach my doorstep once the order was placed. That means my photography clients will get their images and proofs back like lightening fast. LOVE THAT! Awesome service. Can you hear my shrills of excitement?

And lastly...I love that my business cards all have samples of my photos on the front side of them. Too fun! I also have some smaller business cards that are shaped like a lens cover and look like the lens cover on one side with my name and info. Then, you flip them over and they have my logo and website on the backside. More fun! Spring cannot get here fast enough.

...Angie

That's exciting Angie- I've used that lab for my orders as well and love them. Usually they pack a lollipop in the box. I love your moo cards, and the round ones- great presentation! God bless!

You may ask well start looking for your lab in south Florida too. I know you're going to be there one of these days. I think you've got a good 2 more winters left in ya! You are drawn to the ocean and there's no cure for that!!! You can fight it for a while but it just won't go away. Trust me, I moved away from it for 9 months and it was unbearable. Luckily for me, hubby is in the Coast Guard, so even the most undesirable places to live (like the current Alaska thing) are still on the ocean. The salt, te surf, and the ability to see it everyday, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....... nothing like it. (Selfish truth, I also want you in Florida so that when hubby retires in 2 years, you can take the big family photo when we're back to our home in Clearwater, Fla. I had to tell the whole truth, but still trust me, it is a disease with no cure but living by the ocean!)
Have a blessed day girl! You really light up my day here in total darkness at 8:30. You think cold Indianna is bad, OMGoodness, we have darkness for wayyyyyyyyyy longer than anyone should be able to handle. I think it might be why Alaskans are the top alchoholics in the nation!

Krissy, You are too funny. Ironically, I too, wonder how many winters I have left in me here in Indiana. My husband would pack up and move today if I'd do it. He has tried for years to get me to move to south FL but I've just never been able to envision leaving my parents.

Ironically, I said "jokingly" to my Dad the other night - something to the effect of packing them up and moving them with us. I told him that he'd just have to find another job there. Which he then replied and said..."You know...my company does have another branch down there."

Too fun! It's always great to dream, eh? There are ties that bind my parents here with my Grandma (my step-Moms mom) and my step-Mom's sister. (my aunt) They live directly across the street from my Dad and Cathy so it is extremely convenient for them as they are both aging. Not only that but its great to have those you love so dearly right outside your front door. If we moved South and expected my Dad to come along, We'd need to move my aunt and Grandma too but I don't think they are up for that.

Now my Mom...she'd pack with us and move tomorrow. No doubt. She has said it before and meant it. Therefore, I know she'd be a shu- in should we ever decide to head that way. We'd get her to move in the blink of an eye because she has nothing tying her here to Indiana (with the exception of her sisters whom she loves) and can always get another job in FL.

My Mother and Father in law are another story though too. My MIL has other children here. We couldn't expect her to pack up and move away from Brent's younger brother and sister. Although, Brent's younger brother would like to move to Florida with us. He thinks we should move the company there.

So...who knows where God will lead us one day. You are right though. The ocean is running rampant in my veins and always has been. From the moment I first laid eyes on the beach when I was 7 years old, I knew I was addicted. I was hooked and have been ever since. And again, you are so right..."there is no fighting it." It's embedded in your genetic make-up. The saltwater and sand are in my DNA. Now it's in my kids too.

For now, I'll keep dreaming when I'm away from it. Thanks for your post. I'm there - anytime girlfriend - whenever you should ever want your family pictures done.

Hugs, Angie

Thanks for sharing all that. I knew there had to be something really, really important to keep you from moving to Florida! Your parents are very lucky because you are far more selfless than a lot of people I know.
And, I may very well take you up on the photo shoot of the kids one of these days when you and I are in the Sunshine State at the same time!

If It's out there Angie will find it! Too cool! I hope you aren't spreading yourself to thin baby girl! I guess when you are a child of God you can always call on him for strength and hope.
