Everybody needs a good "gut laugh" every now and again. Brent and I just sat laughing at this video together and I now have tears rolling down my cheeks from laughing so hard. Although I never get the chance to sit down and watch daytime television, talk shows, etc., I do love Ellen. This episode is no different. Make sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page and pause my playlist music before coming back up here and hitting play on this video. I pray you have a great day full of smiles after watching this. I don't know how you couldn't possibly have a better state of mind of watching it. Here is to the start of good moments in your day today...

Hugs, Angie

PS...Thanks Natasha, for posting this on facebook for all of us yesterday. :)

That is hilarious!

Listen to that accent.. it does have "Texas" all over it. I never thought I had much of one until I visited my husbands family for the first time in Kansas.. his 9 year old cousin asked me "Why do you talk like that?" HA! I could not figure out what she was talking about until he told me she was referring to my accent. I thought it was too funny and a moment I will never forget. Gotta love it! Well Austin, Tx is about an hour away from me and what Gladys said about ice and snow is so true! My husband grew up with inches of snow, so anytime the "icey" weather is on the news he is full of jokes!

Too funny, thanks for sharing!

Bye ya'll! ;)

Oh my goodness! That's the funniest thing ever. I was expecting the Jesus line to be something Ellen was going to say, so it was even funnier when Gladys said it! And the comment about hilarious! Thanks for a good laugh!

Ellen does call Gladys from time to time. I don't know if it's a scheduled thing or not, but she's always a hoot when she's on.

Crystal, I had just the opposite when we lived in East Tennessee. People would say, "Y'ain't from 'round here, are ya?" I usually thanked them for noticing!

The best one was when the lady at a convenience store asked me, "y'onna bak?" I thought she was asking if I came on a bike. She finally repeated, "Y'onna bak ferthat nyoospayper." translation: "Do you want a bag for that newspaper."

Yankees have such a tough time sometimes...

But I do love Gladys!
