SUNDAY NIGHT SMACK DOWN...

Yeap...instead of the Friday night WW raw or WWF Smackdown (whatever the heck that show is called), it was the Sunday night smackdown version at our house yesterday. Brennen is not allowed to watch the WWF shows. Brent and I try not to promote anymore wrestling and rough housing than what already comes naturally with boys. Therefore, Brennen is fully aware of the fact that he is banned from watching those fighting channels. He also makes us fully aware that he is the "ONLY" kid that isn't allowed to watch them at school. He gets so angry with me when I won't let him get a WWF toy or boxing ring etc. from Toys R Us and then proceeds to tell me that I'm the only parent not letting "their kid" watch that stuff. HA! It's all coming back to me now-I feel a dejavu taking place from years ago when I was his age and talking to my Mother about specific things "I" wanted.
Anywho, I captured these very informal and very candid shots yesterday with my P&S camera (little point and shoot canon camera) while the kids were playing yesterday. It all begins with Brennen liking to play trucks and cars on the elongated rug in our foyer. Kenidi then insists on being able to sit dead smack in the middle of the rug where his cars "have to drive" and play too. This ensues with hundreds of "Mom, she is in my way - Mom, she took my cars, then a scream from Kenidi, then Mom, she pinched me, and again Mom...she is kicking me, and another scream then comes from Kenidi." On certain days, it is just never ending. So, I usually just let it play out and this is what happens....

Someone eventually gets mad or hurt and begins to cry. This time it was Kenidi. Then, as you see below...they always seem to kiss and make up.

Then, just when you think its safe to enter the water again....

Along comes the nuggies on the head!

Poor Kenidi - at least she has learned to toughen up. (as you can see in the pictures at the very top of this post) Brennen has taught her everything he knows. She's a tough one too. Don't let her fool ya! Gotta' love that sibling love. It's truly a bond like no other!

Until my next post, have a great Monday!

Don't worry Brennen, Bailey T is not allowed to watch WWF or Smackdown Raw (whatever it is) EITHER. So you are not the only kid who can't watch this, there are at least 2 of you. Laugh!

I am telling you from experience that Brennen has a unique love for his sister! Most boys fight and fuss with their sisters, but you never see the making up! What little I saw of you guys in Texas last summer, I can tell that Brennen has a special bond with Kenidi that I truly think is different than any other little boy could have with their sister! It is truly a blessing that he has that with her and patience too! Hunter and Ashlyn fight and argue on a daily basis and it drives me NUTS! LOL! I have to give Brennen props... I can imagine that it is pretty tough to be an only child and then not only another baby comes along to rock your world, but then its a GIRL! HA! Then for him to still be as loving, patient, and kind with her as he is, that is just awesome! Be sure and tell him for me that I am so proud of him! That shows alot about his character! And OF COARSE shows alot about you and Brent's parenting! You should be VERY PROUD! You have one awesome little boy on your hands! And of coarse that little Kenidi is the cutest happiest little thing too! You guys are just all great and I love ya!
Ok, what a book I just wrote there! LOL!

Hope you guys are having a great day! Im off to run my errands! FUN!

You just described my kids exactly! Leah always gets
in the way of Reed's car playing....even sitting on
his mat. And they fuss and then kiss and make up!
Ahhh, the joys of raising our precious children :)
Have a super day! Robin

Hey there, I just wanted to say hi, haven't talked to you in awhile. Also, you can tell Brennen he's not the "only kid who can't watch wrestling" lol! I don't let my boys either. Let's do lunch or dinner soon, now that I am finally well, I can't get out enough.
Talk to you soon! LY

Love the look on Kenidi's face where she has Brennen down and in her lap!! Priceless!! They are like my little boys, thick as thieves or ready to rip each others heads off...gotta love it!!

p.s. love kenidi's pj's they are adorable!! I want a pair!! LOL

Thanks for all of the back up here guys as far as confirming that you don't let your kids watch wrestling either. Now I have some serious ammunition to show Brennen. (in writing too)

Shannon, girl - u always melt my heart with your notes and emails. I love ya sista!

Nina-yes, had they had Kenidi's pj's in my size, I would have bought a pair too.

And Mom-I noticed a bit of resemblence there in that photo too. :)

Blessings, Ang

That is just some good old fashion sweetness! Thanks for making me smile w/ the pic's. By the way, if & when I have kids, they WONT watch that wwe/wwf.. "whatever" stuff either! For the reasons you mention & I HATE frickin wrestling shows..so everyone wins :)~ I do love ultimate fighting but that will have to be watched on mommy/daddy time :) Just wanted to add my 2 cents..HEE. Your a good mom!
