HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY STUDMAN!

Our little STUD MUFFIN is nine years old today. I just can't believe it. It was on this day 9 years ago that he decided to come early on the day of my actual scheduled c-section. Yes, he was breech. I should've know then what type of personality he'd have. Ha ha! I was scheduled for surgery at 9am that morning but my water broke at 3am instead. Ultimately, we got to the hospital and he was born at 8:53am. What a day and a moment that was. After loosing our first child, Brennen's cries and breaths of health were such a praise. God blessed us with a gorgeous baby boy on that day who continues to be the light of our lives. Brent keeps tormenting me by saying "Angie, do you realize that in like another 9 years....he probably won't even live with us anymore." Yes, he is the devil. :) I can't bare the thought. Brent laughs because he knows that. Anyone who knows me well, knows how overprotective I am as a Mother. When I say overprotective, I mean o-v-e-r-p-r-o-t-e-c-t-i-v-e! When Brennen moves out, I'll probably move out and move in with him. HA! Just kidding. Well, maybe not! :) While reflecting back on all of these old photos, it brought up so many memories of the past. He's just grown so quick. The hummer limo party that we are having for him is this Saturday, the 15th. I'll have plenty of photos to share from his big day. I'm sure. However, for today, I am taking the highly requested cookie cake over to his school this afternoon and then he has requested a special location for his birthday dinner tonight. We - along with his Grandparents - are taking him out for a big fat filet. (as he worded it) In the meantime, here are some pictures in celebration of his birthday. Our baby is growing up....

Remember this leather coat? You actually threw up all over it in a babie r us cart while shopping one day. It was so bad that we had to just throw it away in their restroom trash. Hey...what is with you and all the vomitting anyhow? Ha ha!

Happy birthday to a boy who has always been infatuated with firetrucks. Even to this day!

Happy birthday to a boy that has always been so good with his sister - from day one. You are so good with her that it doesn't ever go un-noticed among adults, your coaches, your teachers, etc. As you know, we are always having people stop us and comment on how much they notice the fact that you are so good to your sister. Complete strangers on the street have taken note of it before. We are so proud of you for that. Keep protecting her and keep her safe! She is your biggest fan! Well, besides Mommy anyways. :)

Happy birthday to a boy who just might be an even bigger "Beach Bum" than his Mom. You love the ocean and the beach just like me if not more. Thank goodness you always have my back when Daddy wants to try out "colder" vacation spots. We make a great team, don't we? :)

And now look at you today....3rd grade, making student of the month, playing sports like no other and being the best son and the best big brother that a Mom, Dad, and sister could ever want! We love you so much honey!
