FAMILY
(Me, my Dad, & my Step Mom on Sunday)
This past weekend I got the pleasure of seeing my Dad's side of the family for the first time in a long time. My uncle Tim was in town from Arizona (where he now resides) and my Uncle Mike and my Grandmother all came over for dinner at my Dad's. Unfortunately, I usually only see each of them about twice a year. It's just not enough. Either way, all of us as well as my aunt and my Grandma from my Step Mom's side were all together. It made for a nice family day. My uncle Tim was always the one that would come and take me to get ice cream and candy at Linder's Ice Cream store as a little girl. As you can imagine, he was always my favorite uncle for those reasons. Ha ha! You never forget memories like those when you were young. In fact, he even told me yesterday that if I ate all of my dinner, he'd take me for ice cream at Linder's. Ha ha! Those were the days. Linder's doesn't even exist anymore. It is a store with a faded past and a lot of family history. Either way, you can always count on Uncle Tim to make everyone laugh. That is how I've always remembered him. So...I thought I'd share some photos below of our day together. Unfortunately, my Grandmother and my Uncle Mike are legally blind and cannot even see these pictures. I guess that makes them even more special to the rest of us that can view them. The top photo above is one that Brent took of me with my Dad and Step Mom.

ABOVE: This is a photo that Brent took while he was playing "The paparazzi" with my new camera. He was shifting the lens and turning the camera all different ways really fast and telling us to "work it" all while pretending he was the paparazzi. He had us all laughing so hard that we couldn't even focus. It doesn't take much to amuse Brent. (or us) ha ha!
Lastly, this one is of my Dad and I with my Step Mom again. (once the paparazzi calmed down and got a decent photo) We also got to have dinner Saturday evening with Brent's cousin and his wife (Brady and Julie) whom we hadn't been out with in over 7 years. Unfortunately, I didn't take my camera with me to the restaurant where we met them. We had a wonderful evening though. It was great to catch up and spend time with so many loved ones over the weekend. You gotta love family!
PS...Make sure to revisit the blog early next week too. We are having a big bash here at our house this Sunday night for the Superbowl. Over 20 of our closest friends will be here. I'm sure to have some great shots from the Superbowl party-without a doubt!
Blessings, Angie Seaman

Hi Angie! I recieve your blog and you have a great red T-shirt on that I love and was wondering where you got it from! Your web-site is great! Just was hoping you

Looks like a great weekend!!
MMmmmm! Lindner's! They had the BEST hot fudge sundaes EVER! When I was around 10 or 11, I'd go to Lindner's at the corner of Kelly and Shelby on my way to the library. I could get a 1-dip cone for 5 cents, and a double-dip cone for just 7 cents! That was WAY back when they sold ONLY ice cream. No milk, no candy, no bread... Yeah, I'm old.
Thanks for the memory! I'm sure it was a sweet memory for your uncle, too.

Hey Angie,
I truly believe we lived the same childhood!! My aunt used to take me to Linder's when I was a little girl, it was sooo yummy!! We would wear our Jordache outfits and eat at Linder's!! Ha! Ha!
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!
Kim
