By the time you read this, we will most likely already be gone. We had a fantastic week and are now ready for two weeks of fun in the sun over Christmas break. We celebrated Christmas with the kids last night after we attended the Pacers vs. 76's game downtown. It made for a really late night but it was so worth it. They both had Brent and I smiling and tearing up as well. God is so good to us!!! It was tough to get Brennen up and ready for school today but we survived. They don't have school tomorrow so that is a plus. I took his teacher her gifts from the class today and she seemed to love all of them. Beings that I am room Mom coordinator for his class, I was in charge of the selecting and buying of the gifts for her. I had fun with that. I ran a ton of much needed errands today and just finished packing my last article of clothing in my suitcase. I'm beat and ready for bed but still have a ton to do between now and tomorrow morning. Here I sit doing what....????? BLOGGING for Pete's sake. Ha ha! :)

Either way, before I sign off, I wanted to share some photos of last nights game with you all as well as a few of the kids. They were the last shots on my camera before I deleted them all in an effort to get ready to snap shots on vacation.

ABOVE: We got both her and Brennen IPOD Nano's this year. The best part is that we were able to have them engraved with a special personalized message on the back. That was my favorite part. Did I mention that Brennen has already lost one Ipod before? I sure hope he is more responsible with it the second time around. Grrrrr!

And...I just had to share this shot with you. Notice the dolls eyes/eyelashes? Then notice Kenidi's. They almost match, don't they? Gorgeous!

Well, that's it for now. I'll be in touch here and there while we are away. I've got the lap top packed and ready to go just for that reason. I'll at least drop a few blog lines to say hello, let you know how the wedding went, etc. And of course I'll be back the week of January 7th with a ton of photos to share from the trip itself and from the Michael W. Smith concert we are attending on Saturday in Tennessee. Brennen is begging to stop after the concert and purchase some new Tennessee VOLS gear while in their neck of the woods. Do ya' think he's missing football a bit? Ha ha! :) Don't tell anyone but Mom's missing it a bit too. Wink wink! ;)
