NEW DESIGNS

Yes, that's right...amongst all of this packing for our trip, shopping and wrapping for Christmas and the hustle and bustle of it all, I've found time to finish some new designs. This "Cinnamon Bling" bracelet was actually designed for my Step mom (Cathy) for Christmas. I can tell you about it now because she will have already received it and opened it by the time you see it here on the AGD Blog. She had requested that I make her a jewelry piece this year for Christmas rather than buy her something from a store. Therefore, the challenge was on. My Step mom doesn't care much for silver so I had to find a set of beads that reflected the gold tones that she loves so much. We are having Christmas with her and my Dad this Sunday evening, the 16th, so I pray that she falls in love with this when she opens it up. I tried to work more of a two tone design into it rather than all silver or all copper/gold. All I could think of was "cinnamon" when I was making it. Thus, how the title "Cinnamon Bling" was formed. I am offering this design in my online boutique as well as ETSY and eBay too. Should you be interested in it, feel free to contact me or check one of those places for its listing.

Speaking of Christmas gifts....when I was at my Mother in laws house for Thanksgiving, I overheard her say that she needed a new apron. The one she has now was apparently an older one. Therefore, one of her Christmas gifts this year is the apron you see below. Debbie always looks phenomenal in lavendar or purple colors so I went with that color scheme when I thought of her. Again, we are celebrating Christmas with her on Saturday evening, the 15th, so by the time you are reading and viewing these photos, she will have already opened it up. As with my stepmom's gift, I pray Debbie likes this too. These aprons can be found in my ETSY store right now as well as on the AGD website. We can do these in any pattern, theme, color scheme, etc.
Lastly, a couple of these little pillows are going to my "soon to be" new nieces Christmas gifts. They are the daughter's of Aubree - the girl that my brother in law is getting ready to marry while we are in Sanibel next week. Their names are Evie and Lily. Aside from the outfits Uncle Brent and Aunt Angie got them for Christmas, I thought these homemade pillows would be a good addition to their new bedrooms. You know me...I'm all about custom made gifts or homemade gifts from the heart rather than store bought items. These pillows can be purchased on eBay right now or can be found in my online boutique and ETSY store mid next week. The link to their current auction on eBay is below:

Until my next post, I'm off to wrap gifts. Due to being out of town over Christmas, we are celebrating Christmas with all of our parents, family, etc. this weekend. (the 15th and 16th) Therefore, things are getting ready to get really hectic for me over the next five days. I'll plan to post a few more blogs before we head out on Friday, the 21st. In the meantime, have fun and enjoy this wonderful holiday season. Blessings always, Angie

Hi Angie,

Well, your kids have certainly had their Christmas gift-wise, eh? four different gatherings with gifts, wow!

I'm glad Brennen liked the shirt, and from now on only manly marker colors. I promise.

The apron you made for Debbie was cool. I showed Brad and he said, "It looks like Angie's work and it will look pretty on Debbie, her colors." But you knew that! :-)

We drove home last night, sooo tired. I think the 4:30 Saturday wake-up is something we didn't ever adjust to, even though most days I'm up by 5:30.

Thanks again for the necklace! I will definitely wear it to work this weekend; I'm planning a whole outfit around it.

Enjoy the bustle of your week,
ellie
