Keep your head up girl. So many of us h...Hi Deidra. Keep your head up girl. So many of us have been where you are currently so many times. When we moved, I dreaded finding a new church home because I knew how tough it would be. However, after visiting several churches in the area, we finally found one that is for us. Although it is further away than some closer to our new home, it is worth the extra 15 minute drive. Finding a church home is never an easy task for anyone. And NO CHURCH will ever be "perfect." I'll be praying that God leads you and your family to a church that will make you feel welcome, interested, and satisfied in the word. In the end though, there will always be sundays (or saturday night services) that don't speak to you. Or at least you think they aren't. No matter what we think or feel though, we always gain something no matter how big or small from listening to God's words thru any pastor. Like you...I have a hard time adjusting to certain pastors. I need someone to speak on my level and break it down in leyman's terms for me. I need a pastor to preach it to me like he was carrying on a conversation with me rather than "ministering." Ya know?

So, don't feel alone. Like I said, we've all been there. Keep faithful. Stay positive. And don't stop looking for churches. You WILL find one. Oh and we all have Sunday mornings when Satan is whispering in our ear to stay in bed rather than get up and go. It happens to us all the time. Thus, why Saturday night services work better for our family. Even then, the enemy is always there persuading us to skip church and do something else or go veg out at home. You are no different than the rest of us in this world so don't beat up on yourself. :)

As for Naples, you let me know what you need to know if you decide to vacation here and I'd be happy to help you in any way I can. We've been coming here for 10 years now so we know it like our
2nd home-like the back of our hand. Anyone and everyone loves it here.

Lastly, I am so sorry that I spaced getting back to you about the counter stools in our kitchen. I read your question about that and meant to log onto your blog and let you know that they came from Pier 1 Imports. I obviously got side tracked and never did though. So sorry. As for the paint color in our house, I still need to go down to the basement and look in our utility room for that. I know its down there, it just requires me remembering to look. Ha ha! I'll try to remember next week when back home. Thanks for your patience sista'! :)

Keep your head up and keep smiling. It's a new year, a new slate. It's all good girl!

Hugs, AngieAngie Seamanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10324553577844192100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31472779.post-12629248154533960092009-01-04T10:31:00.000-05:002009-01-04T10:31:00.000-05:00Hi Angie First I just want to start off by saying...Hi Angie First I just want to start off by saying that you truely inspire be to the fullest. I am at the point in the spiritual warfare right know and really don't understand a lot of things. I read your blog from time to time for motavation. I really end to find a knew church home for our family. The DH and I pray for god to lead us, but maybe we are not praying hard enough because it seems like the devil steps in and dicourage us to even motativate ourselfs to go to church and then once I am there I really dont' get anything out of the word. I don't know whether or not it's me still being on milk in the word or the preacher just don't deliever it. I need some guidance. I have said the 2009 was going to be a change for the Brown Family and finding a chirch home that right for us and the kids. On another note becasue I can talk about this all day.I have read several of your blog post about the beach life. I think my family will plan a vaction to the Naple area pretty soon. But the only thing is we don't have a clue about the area. Where should we stay, eat, have fun with the kids etc. The kids are only 2 years old and 5 months so I know we want be able to party like rock stars like you and your family, but I know there are several other things to do in the area. Just let me know once you get back to INDY and settle in. By the way did you ever find out the name of the blue color paint inside your lovely INDY home as well as where you purchased the nice bar stools in the kitchen? Happy Sunday!
PS Sorry for the long post.Deidrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16711170599030763584noreply@blogger.com
