We celebrated Brennen's end of the season football party with his coaches and his teammates and their parents the other night. The event was held at my favorite "nacho supreme" location. YUM! You know that little pizzeria I mentioned here on the blog a couple of months ago? Yeah, that place. The coaches handed out the trophies and said a few things about each player as they came up to get their award.
Brennen's coaches gave Brennen some great compliments including one huge one that stuck out for me. They said that he was a "great listener." They told the crowd that he was a great kid that always did everything asked of him and that he always did what they wanted him to. As a Mom, that moment made me proud. Brent and I wondered what his coaches would have to say as he took front and center in front of everyone. I was so honored to be his Mom at that moment. My little "ROCK STAR" made me all giddy inside.
I thought I'd take a picture of this banner/sign shown above which is out on the football field. I wanted to save it for the scrapbook. Nothing like being listed second on the list because we have an "A" for our business name. Lovin' alphabetical order when it comes to listing businesses. Ha ha!
They sent me this certificate of thanks the other day as well as Brennen's team photo with my business name proudly displayed at the bottom. (Sorry I had to blur so much out and strategically place footballs everywhere for security reasons) I plan to take Brennen's winning jersey with my logo on it as well as all of these items and a few pictures to the local frame shop to have it all framed. I want to put it in my studio/work room for the memories. We are sure looking forward to his Superbowl/Rosebowl championship game this weekend. I can't wait to snap some fun shots while there. Win or lose, it will be another great opportunity that is sure to leave a trail of fun. Until then, I'm going to go nurse my gums back to health. My dentist played hockey with her drill on my gums this morning and I'm feeling the pain this evening because of it all. That is what I get for eating too much chocolate and having to have a loose filling re-done. Oh the things we'll endure for the love of sweets. ;) Keep em' coming.Have a great evening! ~AngieLabels: football, personal
